As a Security Guard
- Armed Retail Center - Full Time in Humble, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Armed Officer at a leading retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents while maintaining a visible presence. This is an armed and driving position where you will provide exceptional customer service and communication, contributing to a welcoming environment.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, guests, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Maintain a visible presence and conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and address security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and guidelines.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other key areas within the retail environment to help to deter theft, unauthorized access, and/or other security-related incidents.
• Document observations, incidents, and/or activities as required by site-specific policies and Allied Universal protocols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and/or emergency personnel when necessary, providing information and support as directed.
• Maintain readiness and proper handling of assigned firearms in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have 5 or more years of security experience.
• Have 3 or more years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience or possess a college degree.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Hold a Level III armed certification if applying in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
