Fire Detection & Suppression Systems Service Specialist

Join a Team Built Around Safety and Growth Houston Fire & Security is a full-service fire protection partner for commercial properties. We design, install, repair, inspect, and maintain systems to keep clients compliant with the latest codes—across mid-rise and high-rise buildings.

Your Impact (Full-Time, On-Site in Humble, TX)
Field service expertise on fire alarm systems—from installation and maintenance to diagnostics and repair.

Programming and commissioning of fire alarm control panels.

Life safety inspections and portable fire extinguisher inspections.

Clear communication with customers, ensuring safety protocols and regulatory standards are met.

Support across related systems: fire alarm monitoring, fire extinguishers, kitchen hood systems, fire sprinkler systems, fire pumps and controllers, and water storage tanks/backflow prev enters.

What You’ll Bring Licensing: FAL and FEL-B required.

Background in fire alarm technologies and life safety regulations.

Low-voltage/electrical troubleshooting, equipment installation, and wiring skills.

Customer-first mindset and ability to work independently in the field.

High school diploma or equivalent; NICET or similar certifications preferred.

Experience with access control systems is advantageous.
