Night Shift Slice Relief Operator

Job Summary

Bongards' Creameries is seeking a Night Shift Slice Relief Operator based out of our Humboldt facility. The Night Shift Slice Relief Operator is responsible for assisting Supervisors, Leads and Machine Operators. Relief operator is required to know all processes and standard operating procedures associated with the slice line. This will require training to develop the relief operator into a point person for the slice line.

• Must be able to learn and perform all machine operator, general labor, lead positions associated with the slice line
• Provide break coverage to slice line crew
• Fill in for any and all types of absences, including the Lead person
• Follow Standard Operating Procedures
• Set up equipment for inspection and start up
• Ongoing Chemical, GMP and HACCP training
• Powered Industrial Truck Training and Certification
• Manage multiple assignments
• Work in a safe and proficient manner
• Other duties as assigned

• High School diploma or equivalent
• Excellent Math and Reading skills
• Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
• Ability to work independently on assigned duties
• Excellent mechanical aptitude
• Knowledge of ROSS, HMI, Powered Industrial Trucks
• Must adhere to and follow all Safety, GMP, other Quality guidelines
• Must maintain highest quality standards for plant and equipment cleanliness
• Must report all food safety problems to immediate supervisor or designated replacement
• Must be able to lift up to 55 lbs

• Night Shift 5:30pm to 6:00am Monday - Friday, frequent Saturday
