The Harrisburg Division of H&K Group, Inc. is seeking experienced and motivated Class B CDL drivers to support our heavy civil construction operations. This role emphasizes reliability, attentiveness, and daily responsibilities including maintaining truck logs and equipment.

• Perform all work adhering to MSHA and H&K Safety policies
• Drive truck to destination
• Prepare receipts for load pick‑up
• Maintain truck log according to state and federal regulations and company policy
• Maintain telephone or radio contact with supervisor for delivery instructions
• Load and unload truck
• Inspect truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, gas, oil, and water
• Perform daily pre- and post-trip inspections of vehicle
• Tarps all loads when public roadway travel is necessary
• Trim all loads prior to tarping when necessary
• Other duties as assigned

• Required Skills, Education, and Experience
  • High school diploma or equivalent (GED)
  • Class B CDL with 1 year of commercial driving experience or 1 year of triaxle driving experience
  • Clean driving record
  • Customer Service and Teamwork orientation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to fit test and utilize appropriate PPE as needed
  • Physical ability to meet job requirements (movement, lifting, etc.)
• Preferred Skills, Education, and Experience
  • 3+ years of commercial driving experience
  • Strong preference for 3 years of triaxle driving experience
  • TWIC card preferred with CDL class B, Hazmat, and Tanker endorsement
  • Experience in heavy civil construction, road construction, or quarries
  • MSHA, OSHA or other relevant safety certifications

• Frequently required to sit, use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms
• Frequently required to talk or hear
• Occasionally required to climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

• Regularly exposed to outside weather conditions
• Frequently exposed to vibration
• Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts
• Noise level is usually loud
