Trainee Financial Planner

We are working with a highly successful and growing financial planning business with over £2bn AUM and a strong reputation for investing in and developing its people.

They are looking for an ambitious Trainee Financial Planner to join their busy Hungerford office. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career in financial advice, with a clear progression route through to Wealth Adviser and beyond.

You will work closely with experienced Financial Planners, attending client meetings and gaining exposure to the technical, administrative and client-facing sides of financial planning. The aim is to develop successful candidates into Advisers within around 24 months.

The business is committed to supporting employees through professional qualifications and ultimately developing its people towards Chartered status.

This role would suit an ambitious financial services administrator looking to progress, graduate or candidate with R0 exams who is keen to build a career in financial planning.

You will need to be hardworking, resilient, patient and genuinely motivated to learn. The role is about developing more than technical knowledge - you will also build the client and communication skills needed to become a successful adviser.

• £33,000 starting salary, rising to £36,000 with 4 R0s
