P​/T Experienced & trustworthy Housekeeper for private residence, nr Berks, ASAP

A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and trustworthy Housekeeper to work alongside a full-time housekeeper on a prestigious private estate.

The large estate is currently undergoing a full restoration, and the successful applicant will be based working at an established residential property near Hungerford.

• Daily tidying
• General cleaning (dusting, vacuuming, mopping)
• Making beds and changing bed linen
• Laundry and wardrobe care including in-house laundering, washing, ironing, handwashing delicate items and wardrobe management
• Household management including running errands as required and general support when guests are staying

The successful candidate must be well presented, trustworthy, discreet, reliable and friendly. Be happy to go above and beyond. Have an adaptable nature and be highly valued. Be fit and healthy (a non-smoker) to work around a large house. Excellent attention to detail and a positive, proactive attitude. Like dogs, birds and other animals.

  previously worked in high-end private households
• Working hours:
  
  Minimum of 15 hours a week over 5 days with flexibility to work weekends/evenings when the client is in residence
