Growing Smiles Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a warm, energetic and dependable Patient Care Coordinator to join our Huntersville team.
The PCC is often the first and last impression our families have of the practice. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys people, communicates confidently and can create a welcoming experience for children and parents while keeping a busy front office organized.
Dental experience is valuable, but we're equally interested in finding someone with the right personality, work ethic and desire to grow with our organization.
What You'll DoCreate an Exceptional Patient Experience
Warmly welcome children and families into the practice.
Provide professional and friendly check-in/check-out experiences.
Answer incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette.
Build rapport with prospective patients and help convert inquiries into scheduled appointments.
Handle questions, concerns and challenging situations with patience and professionalism.
Schedule new and existing patients accurately.
Help maintain a productive schedule and proactively address openings.
Confirm upcoming appointments and follow up on pending or overdue care.
Support daily huddles and communicate scheduling needs with the clinical team.
Help ensure families move smoothly through the practice.
Insurance & Administrative Support
Verify insurance eligibility and benefits before appointments.
Accurately collect and enter patient and insurance information.
Help families understand coverage and expected financial responsibility.
Maintain accurate patient records and documentation.

Prior dental/front-office experience is preferred, particularly experience with:
Dental insurance verification
Check-in/check-out
Open Dental experience is preferred but not required for the right candidate.
