Parts Counterperson

Keffer Mazda is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Parts Counterperson to join our team in Huntersville, NC. This role involves assisting customers and service technicians with parts inquiries and sales to ensure smooth and efficient operations within the parts department. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a strong knowledge of automotive parts, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Locate and sell automotive parts and accessories to customers and service technicians.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and parts database.
• Process orders, returns, and exchanges efficiently.
• Answer phones and respond to parts inquiries promptly.
• Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to order stock as needed.
• Ensure the parts department is organized and clean at all times.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in automotive parts sales or related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts and terminology.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
