Position SummaryEssential duties and major accountabilities include:
- Develop and drive business growth strategy based on fact‑based market analysis to meet and exceed the annual sales and profitability forecast for all accounts.
- Develop multi‑year business plan and annual budgets including global brand deployment, product, pricing, go‑to‑market, and promotion strategies, objectives, policies, metrics, milestones, and special programs.
- Lead team in the development and expansion of account relationships through the execution of pull‑through marketing and direct sales strategies; negotiation of license and distribution agreements; and cultivation of professional relationships with senior management of targeted customers and prospects.
- Ensure a structured and consistent sales and marketing approach in alignment with Microban’s corporate goals through close working relationship with Microban’s leadership team; provide information to leadership team regarding markets, growth challenges, new development programs, quality, and compliance issues, etc.
- Ensure global sales and marketing competence for implementing appropriate strategies; develop, coach, and mentor a best‑in‑class sales network globally.
- Identify innovation needs for both existing and new markets and work collaboratively with Innovation team to develop target solutions for expanding market share/penetration.
- Monitor, track, analyze, and evaluate profit margin, revenue stream, sales methods, expenses, and overall results, taking corrective action when plans are below target.
- Own demand forecast input to Sales & Operation Planning and work closely with the Global Supply Chain team to ensure the targeted customer service levels.
Bachelor’s degree from four‑year college or university in business, engineering, or chemistry is required; MBA is preferred. More than ten (10) years of increasingly responsible international commercial experience with a multi‑national company which must include a proven track record in:
- Achieving significant growth in Net Sales and Operating Profit.
- Establishing a vision, driving innovation, articulating business cases, and delivering top‑line growth while optimizing for profitability.
- Development and execution of both strategic and tactical level business plans; complex strategic selling at c‑suite level, and P&L management.
- Selecting, leading, and developing a talented team selling and supporting a portfolio of technical products and services and/or licensed brands to market decision makers.
- Building successful long‑term relationships with known companies and growing revenue around these relationships over time.
- Experience selling B2B, B2B2C; work through multiple levels, distributor channels, factories, and retailers.
- Setting up and managing distribution channels.
- Experience in developing, selling, and negotiating trademark and technology licensing agreements and supply agreements.
- Ingredient branding, value‑added materials, and pull‑through marketing trained and experienced in Miller Heiman, Wilson Learning CSP, Sandler, or similar sales training, and in-depth knowledge and use of Customer Relationship Management tools such as

proficiency in Microsoft Office, Customer Relationship Management systems such as Salesforce, and business social media platforms such as Linked In. Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are a plus. Must be able to travel as needed up to 50% of the time.
