Overview
ETI Precision is seeking a calibration technician to join its team in Huntersville, NC. This full-time role offers competitive pay and benefits. The Calibration Technician will test, calibrate, and troubleshoot a variety of test and measurement instruments. Equipment is maintained and periodically calibrated for accuracy, reliability, and conformance to industry and customer standards. The role supports professional development opportunities and requires collaboration with customers and team members.
LocationOn-site at various customer sites in Huntersville, NC and surrounding areas. Occasionally at our office in Huntersville, NC.
Day to Day Responsibilities- Complete accurate and timely calibrations on customer sites
- Perform routine and complex calibration on a wide variety of equipment per company processes and instruction documentation
- Perform calibration on a variety of devices and instruments in accordance with established procedures and standards
- Interact with clients throughout the calibration process from the first onsite touch point to project completion, including providing updates on services needed
- Ensure all calibration activities comply with industry regulations and quality standards
- Maintain calibration records and documentation, ensuring all data is accurate and up to date
- Interact professionally with customers, providing excellent service and support
- Communicate with customers throughout the process and provide status updates
- Have the ability to learn mechanical and technical skills quickly
- Can adapt to multiple different work environments and settings
- Are customer-oriented with excellent communication skills
- Are punctual, respectful, and honest with a positive attitude
- Have excellent attention to detail
- Have a strong work ethic
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Able to climb, kneel, drive, and stand for long periods
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word
- Good organizational and prioritization skills
- Must have a valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Ability and willingness to travel to customers’ locations in the Huntersville, NC area and occasional overnight out-of-state travel (1–2 nights per month, potentially up to 1 week on a volunteer basis)
- At least two years of experience in a related field
- Knowledge of metrology principles, procedures, methods, and techniques
- Knowledge and experience with Electrical, Physical, and/or Mechanical Calibration
- Experience with Manufacturer's Quality Systems
- Associate’s degree in Engineering, Electronics, or other technical fields
- Technical degree or certificate
- Military PMEL Training
- Experience with Indy Soft
