• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in North Carolina
• Previous experience working on wastewater infrastructure, treatment, collection systems, or related municipal water/wastewater projects
• Experience managing engineering projects from initial planning and design through bidding and construction phases
• Strong understanding of wastewater engineering principles and the ability to provide technical direction throughout a project
• Experience communicating directly with municipalities, utilities, public agencies, or similar infrastructure clients
• Ability to coordinate with engineering staff, regulatory stakeholders, contractors, and other project partners
• Leadership skills with an interest in mentoring and developing junior engineers and technical staff
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to build long-term professional relationships and identify future project opportunities
• Comfortable balancing technical leadership, project management, client service, and team development

• Manage wastewater projects from planning through construction
• Lead the design of wastewater treatment and collection systems
• Manage project budgets, schedules, scope, and deliverables
• Serve as a primary point of contact for municipal clients
• Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering teams
• Provide technical guidance and review engineering designs
• Assist with construction administration and project implementation
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technical staff
• Build and maintain strong client relationships
• Support proposals, client development, and new project opportunities
