- Leads forecasting of Sales, Trade Funding, Mix, Trade A/R and Customer Accruals into regional, segment and corporate processes
- Evaluates forecasts for variations and ensures understanding and accuracy
- Delivers high quality variance analysis and narratives for Brand x Channel intersections;
Heavily supported by Sales Commercial Finance - Own US elements of the sales walk (pricing, distribution, NPD, market, etc)
- Understand price/mix drivers and opportunities for category improvement
- Act as a main liaison from Customer Commercial Finance to Segment Brand & MD&P teams
- Provide dedicated support to Segment MD&P leads and their teams including Segment RGM resources
- Directs decision support activity and acts as consolidated point of approval for high‑value decisions/exceptions in collaboration with Sales Commercial Finance (ex. top customer line reviews, high value promotions, DI/DA, etc.)
- Tracks key, material decisions (incremental funding, programming changes, tariff exceptions, etc.) which to provide as forecast inputs
- Acts as “Customer Finance” support for Segment B2B Sales
- Actively participates in the Americas Sales Operating Rhythm (ex. CBRs, WBRs)
- Actively participate in Commercial Finance COE team meetings, projects, etc
- Assist with month‑end and quarter‑end close activities including variance commentary and reporting
- Proactively owns, identifies, and solves issues assigned to them
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, as timeline to action may be tight and require significant cross‑functional coordination.
- Strong business acumen and ability to share business knowledge with non‑financial individuals.
- Drive automation and scalability of financial processes and reporting tool
- Understand all internal and external requirements and deliverables
- Ad hoc projects as assigned.
- BA/BS degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Management or Economics
- Strong Business acumen and analytical skills with the ability to distill complex data into clear, actionable insights
- Excellent communication and presentation skills - able to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Self‑starter mentality with a focus on accuracy, accountability, and ownership
- 7+ years of relevant finance experience, preferably in Consumer‑Packaged Goods (CPG)
- Proficiency in MS Office applications (Access, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), computer literate.
- Experience with SAP and Oracle/Hyperion planning systems strongly preferred.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Comfortable with ambiguity and changing priorities
- Self‑motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks.
- Ability to work as part of a team and interface with others across all levels of the organization, work independently and as part of a team to solve problems given limited resources and time, have a strong work ethic, and adhere to deadlines.
