IT Support Technician

Position

Description:

The IT Support Technician is responsible for providing proactive remote and on-site customer support and services to various locations and facilities. This role involves field visits, analyzing and clarifying customer queries through research and troubleshooting, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction by meeting or exceeding departmental goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Update technical manuals and reference guides with the latest product updates.
• Stay informed about the latest industry trends and advancements.
• Provide comprehensive on-site support, including identifying and resolving faults in hardware, software, configuration, and networking.
• Maintain an accurate inventory of all equipment, software, data circuits, and telephone numbers for each site in the corporate tool.
• Manage and archive all relevant site drawings, including building layouts and IT infrastructure.
• Develop emergency service plans to address critical issues swiftly and minimize downtime.
• Recommend process improvements to enhance customer service and achieve sales goals.
• Resolve issues promptly by analyzing and formulating solutions.
• Plan and execute customer support training sessions for field staff.
• Educate customers on product operation and maintenance procedures.
• Collaborate with on-site contractors to ensure comprehensive facility support.
• Oversee product installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
