The Slitting Operator plays a crucial role in the manufacturing process by ensuring that materials are accurately cut to specified dimensions. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a commitment to maintaining high-quality standards throughout the production process. The operator will be responsible for setting up and operating slitting machines, monitoring production runs, and making necessary adjustments to optimize efficiency.

Additionally, the Slitting Operator will collaborate with team members to troubleshoot any issues that arise during production. Ultimately, the success of this role directly impacts the overall productivity and quality of the manufacturing operation.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with slitting or cutting machinery.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot equipment.

• Technical certification in manufacturing or machine operation.
• Experience with quality control processes and standards.
• Familiarity with safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.

• Set up and operate slitting machines according to production specifications.
• Monitor the slitting process to ensure materials are cut accurately and efficiently.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on slitting equipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any discrepancies to management.
• Collaborate with team members to improve production processes and resolve issues.
