Marketing Manager

Location: Huntersville, NC (Fully Onsite)

Overview

A growing, sales-driven B2B organization is seeking a Marketing Manager to lead and scale its marketing function. This is a newly created role with high visibility, focused on building a predictable lead generation engine, strengthening alignment with sales, and driving measurable revenue impact.

This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of marketing strategy and execution while managing and developing a small team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end lead generation, from inbound capture through sales handoff

  • Manage and optimize lead sources including digital campaigns, website inquiries, and trade shows/events

  • Design and execute lead nurturing programs using email, automation, and targeted content

  • Partner closely with sales and executive leadership to define lead qualification criteria and handoff processes

  • Build and maintain dashboards and reports tied to pipeline, conversion rates, and revenue influence

  • Analyze marketing performance data and recommend data-driven improvements

  • Support trade show and event marketing, including pre-event outreach and post-event follow-up

  • Lead and develop one direct report within the marketing function

Qualifications

Required:

  • 5–7 years of experience in B2B marketing, preferably in a sales-driven environment

  • Proven experience managing lead generation, nurturing, and qualification processes

  • Hands-on CRM experience (Salesforce required)

  • Strong analytical skills with experience tying marketing activity to pipeline and revenue

  • Experience managing email, digital, and campaign-based marketing initiatives

  • Ability to work independently, assess existing systems, and make immediate recommendations

  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills

Preferred:

  • Experience supporting trade shows or industry events

  • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms

  • Background in manufacturing, distribution, or wholesale environments
