Group Exercise Instructor; HIT

Overview

LIVunLtd is seeking a highly motivating and dynamic Group Fitness Instructor who has a passion for making fitness fun. This individual will join our team at Huntersville Family Fitness & Aquatics to deliver exceptional client services through our facilities’ programming. Classes take place daily in the mornings and evenings.

We are currently seeking individuals experienced in teaching HIT classes, and would be available in the evenings.

• Leads energizing, fun, safe, and educational group classes, as directed by the director/coordinator, to accomplish LIVunLtd and our client s mission and goals.
• Maintains working knowledge of wellness and trends to provide effective information and support to members.
• Ensure safety of members through exercise technique and make appropriate modifications if necessary.
• Builds effective, authentic relationships with members.
• Keeps accurate class attendance records.
• Ensures facility, equipment and environment are appropriately prepared for each class.

• At least one (1) year experience teaching various types of group exercise classes
• At least one (1) year experience teaching HIIT
• Must maintain active CPR, AED certification and relevant fitness certifications from a nationally accredited certification organization, such as AFAA, ACE, NASM, NSCA – CSCS, CPT or ACSM, etc.
• Energetic, positive and motivational teaching style
• Capable of incorporating a contemporary approach to classical exercises.
