Our client, a leading business within FMCG , is seeking a highly organised and detail-driven Administrator to support its growing Gifting and Hampers operation. This is a fast-paced, administration-heavy role focused on managing product specifications and technical information to ensure customer requirements are delivered accurately and on time.
The role sits within the Technical function but is best suited to someone who thrives in structured, meticulous administration, enjoys handling large volumes of data, and can confidently coordinate information from multiple departments and stakeholders.
The Role
You will be responsible for creating, maintaining, and managing product specifications for a high volume of gifting and hamper SKUs (typically 50–70 new SKUs at any one time). This includes gathering information from suppliers, internal teams, and customers, organising it accurately, and ensuring it is rolled out correctly to operations and customers.
This position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work at pace while managing multiple specifications simultaneously.
Duties
Provide comprehensive administrative support for the gifting and hampers product range.
Create, update, and maintain detailed product specifications, including components such as product order, ingredients, foliage/pack components, and presentation requirements.
Collate information from multiple internal departments, suppliers, and stakeholders to build complete and accurate specifications.
Upload and manage specifications within retailer and internal systems, ensuring all data is correct and up to date.
Prepare and organise supporting documentation and imagery (including posting and managing product photos).
Ensure allergen, nutritional, labelling, and food safety information is accurately captured and maintained.
Manage specification approval processes and ensure deadlines are met.
Support the rollout of approved specifications to operations and ensure they match customer requirements.
Act as a central point of contact for specification-related queries for gifting and hamper products.
Maintain high standards of accuracy across all documentation and data entry.
The Candidate
Proven experience in an Administration, Specification Administrator, or FMCG administration role (FMCG experience highly desirable).
Comfortable working in a high-volume, fast-paced environment with multiple SKUs.
Exceptionally organised, methodical, and detail-focused.
Strong administrative and data-handling skills with a clear, structured approach to work.
Confident using Microsoft Office
Able to manage deadlines, prioritise workload, and maintain accuracy under pressure.
Previous exposure to food specifications, labelling, or technical documentation is advantageous but the role is primarily administrative in nature
