Salary: Grade 4 (SCP 7-9) £26,403–£27,254 (plus a cost of living pay award)

We are seeking a versatile, dynamic individual to join our small Guildhall team, able to blend high-level governance support with strong customer care and community service.
How You Will Make an ImpactGet involved in local democracy:
Take ownership of the Council and Committee meeting cycle, coordinating agendas, reports, and minutes with accuracy and precision to ensure local decision-making runs smoothly.
Support decision makers – a trusted link supporting both senior staff and elected town councillors.
Welcome Your Community:
Anchor our front reception desk, bringing warmth and professional flair to a high volume of public enquiries across phones, emails, and face-to-face visits.

Ability to switch effortlessly between complex administrative tasks and a busy front desk. - Sharp Communication:
Excellent written skills for drafting official correspondence and attention to detail

You understand the importance of political neutrality and can handle sensitive council matters with absolute confidentiality.
Local Knowledge: A keen interest in parish affairs and the ability to learn council services quickly.

Hours: 37 hours a week (occasional evening working)
