IBD Admin Assistant - Huntingdon | North West Anglia NHS Foundation Trust
Responsible for day-to-day administrative duties, co-ordinating patient care as directed. Assisting with data input, and data base management updating patient details as required. Ensuring the use of good communication and customer care skills to both patients and staff.

Administration/Clerical Services
To assist IBD Nurses with routine administrative duties.
To photocopy, scan and ensure stationary is all stocked at all times.
To answer telephone calls and deal with non-nursing/non-medical enquiries.
To work within the required timescales and targets to ensure patients appointments are timely and efficient meeting cancer and waiting time targets.
To work in conjunction with the Trust Waiting List/ Access Policy .A high standard of data quality must be maintained at all times
To operate the Trust’s Computer Systems, full training will be provided
To send correspondence to patients and to make and receive telephone calls in a polite manner.
To undertake any pilot work as part of service improvement within the Trust
To provide work in a collaborative manner with the IBD team and others to ensure efficiency of service provision.
To assist the Admin and Audit assistant to the IBD nurses and UPGI CNS Teams.
To ensure all data collection and processing undertaken is consistently accurate and timely and complies with The Trust Data Quality Policy and local procedures.
To undertake any other similar duties in line with the key purpose of the job.
