Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire | £14.00 per hour | Monday-Friday, 9:00am-2:30pm | Temp to Perm. Immediate start required. Own transport due to location.
Our client, a well-established business based in
Fenstanton, Cambridgeshire
, is looking for an experienced and proactive
Administrator
to join their small and friendly team on a
part-time, permanent basis
.
The position will initially start on a
temporary basis
, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
This is a varied and busy role where you will provide essential administrative support to a team of technicians working in the field, while also being a key point of contact for customers.
KeyDuties & Responsibilities
- Providing day-to-day administrative support to a team of field-based technicians
- Using
Salesforce
to manage customer and job information - Maintaining and updating
spreadsheets and databases - Typing and formatting technician reports and inventories
- Uploading reports, documents and other job-related information
- Organising customer appointments and scheduling works
- Coordinating technician diaries and workloads
- Preparing quotations and following up with customers
- Creating and processing invoices
- Speaking with customers on a daily basis and providing a professional first point of contact
- Handling incoming telephone calls and enquiries
- Responding to and composing professional emails
- Following up with customers regarding completed works
- Ensuring outstanding actions and customer queries are followed through to completion
- Keeping accurate records and ensuring all paperwork is completed correctly
- Supporting the wider team with general administration as required
We are looking for someone who is
organised, proactive and confident
who enjoys working in a varied administrative role.
You will need:
- Previous administration experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Good telephone manner and confidence speaking with customers
- Good IT skills and confidence using spreadsheets
- Experience using
Salesforce
would be advantageous - The ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise your workload
- A proactive approach with the ability to use your own initiative
- The confidence to follow up on outstanding jobs, customer queries and actions
- Excellent organisational and time-management skills
- A reliable and professional approach
- The ability to work independently as well as as part of a small team
