Site Manager - Retrofit & decarbinisation

Our client, a dynamic, family-run business with over 1,200 employees nationwide, is recruiting a Site Manager – Retrofit & Decarbonisation to lead and deliver energy efficiency projects across Huntingdon and the surrounding area.

• Lead day‑to‑day site operations on retrofit and decarbonisation projects.
• Manage subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to ensure safe and efficient delivery.
• Ensure compliance with PAS 2030/2035, health & safety, and building regulations.
• Liaise with tenants in occupied properties to minimise disruption.
• Carry out inductions, toolbox talks, inspections, and quality control.
• Monitor progress against programme and escalate delays when needed.

• Proven experience as a Site Manager – Retrofit & Decarbonisation or energy efficiency projects.
• Knowledge of PAS 2030/2035 compliance and decarbonisation techniques.
• Valid SMSTS or SSSTS qualification.
• Experience working in occupied properties (social housing preferred).
• NVQ Level 6 or equivalent in Construction Site Management.
• Retrofit Site Supervisor training (Trust Mark/PAS 2035-aligned).
• Ability to read drawings and interpret technical specifications.
