2nd Line Engineer – responsible for fault rectification of incidents, supporting problem management, CSI and CR work, and providing second line technical support to all Leidos‑managed systems.

• Manage and maintain servers and virtual machines to ensure high availability and performance, including deployment of new equipment.
• Update and certify network equipment.
• Provide expert‑level support to end‑users, resolving complex issues and offering training on new systems.
• Implement security best practices and respond to security incidents.
• Work closely with 3rd line and Apps team to troubleshoot complex issues and support core services.

• Experience resolving SD+ ticket incidents in a timely manner while meeting KPI/SLA.
• Responsible for periodic maintenance using PPM.
• Experience patching domains with WSUS and SCCM, including Microsoft and security updates.
• Maintain accurate documentation of system configuration changes and record work in SD+.
• Assist in configuration, installation, and deployment of infrastructure components, including virtual machines.
• Participate in infrastructure‑related projects and CR implementation phases.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, including technical documentation.

£36,900.00 – £46,100.00
