We are recruiting for a Maintenance of Line (MOL) Mechanical Engineer to join a global engineering business in St Ives, Cambridgeshire.
This role will focus on product improvements, obsolescence management, quality initiatives, and technical problem-solving across an established product portfolio.
Ideal candidates for the Maintenance of Line (MOL) Mechanical Engineer job in St Ives, Cambridgeshire will have experience with:
- Mechanical product design and development
- Product improvement and continuous improvement activities
- Obsolescence management and supplier changes
- CAD systems such as Creo and Windchill
- FMEA, testing, validation, and problem-solving techniques
- Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams
- Plastic mouldings, sheet metal, and manufacturing processes
The successful Maintenance of Line (MOL) Mechanical Engineer in St Ives, Cambridgeshire will ideally possess:
- A Degree in Mechanical, Aerospace, Automotive Engineering, or similar
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting products through their lifecycle
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive, hands-on approach to engineering challenges
