Materials Solutions Lead | Huntingdon, UK | Full-time
The Materials Solutions Lead manages complex, high-value materials opportunities from initial enquiry to commercial close. The role combines materials expertise with commercial leadership, developing customer solutions and coordinating technical, sourcing and quality specialists. Responsibilities include leading proposals, pricing and negotiations, supporting account managers on complex opportunities, contributing to strategic projects and developing colleagues within the Materials Solutions team.
Requirements- STEM degree in materials science, engineering, chemistry or a related discipline.
- Experience in technical sales, solution sales or applications engineering.
- Proven success closing high-value deals.
- Strong commercial judgement.
- Knowledge of materials.
- Exposure to microfabrication or materials testing.
- CRM, procurement or supplier sourcing experience.
- Experience integrating new capabilities or teams.
