Business Analyst

Salary: £80,000 - 80,000 per year

• Several years experience as a Business Analyst or in a related platform/application support role.
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process mapping, and documentation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to work across technical and business teams.
• Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint for reporting and presentations.
• Basic SQL knowledge for data extraction and analysis.
• Experience creating mockups, wireframes, or prototypes to demonstrate solutions or processes, with a focus on intuitive and user-friendly UX.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
• Hands‑on experience working in an Agile environment with tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Dev Ops, and writing user stories.
• Experience in platform/application support, including incident resolution, troubleshooting, and stakeholder triage, is highly advantageous.
• Experience in the automotive industry or supply chain management is a bonus.
• We need someone who can commute to Huntingdon and work in person.
• We require the right to work in the United Kingdom.
• We require 4 years business analysis experience.

• We work with internal stakeholders to capture and document business needs aligned to strategic goals.
• We define and refine user stories, acceptance criteria, and functional requirements in partnership with stakeholders and development teams.
• We map, analyse, and improve business processes, identifying opportunities for efficiency and optimisation.
• We create wireframes, mockups, or interactive prototypes to communicate user journeys and potential solutions from a UX perspective.
• We facilitate communication across business and technical teams and regularly feed back requirements and findings.
• We write and execute basic SQL queries to support business decision-making, alongside data analysis in Excel.
• We deliver clear reports and presentations using Excel and PowerPoint to communicate requirements, findings, and recommendations.
• We contribute to project justifications, project plans, and resource allocation discussions.
• We support and coordinate UAT activities to validate that delivered solutions meet business objectives.
• We support the embedding of new processes or systems while minimising disruption.
• We troubleshoot and resolve platform and application issues, working closely with technical teams to deliver solutions and support users.
• We engage directly with stakeholders and contribute to a range of projects across the business.
