Oracle Finance Business Analyst

Location:

St. Ives, Peterborough, UK (Hybrid – 3 days in office, 2 days remote)

• Lead Oracle Financials solution design and implementation activities within Oracle R12 Financials.
• Support day‑to‑day production issues, month‑end processes, integration enhancements, change requests, and future projects.
• Document clear requirements, prepare functional design documents, monitor project progress, and test solutions before release.
• Research new functionality, troubleshoot problems, and create Service Requests as needed.
• Act as a consultant to business counterparts to improve usage of existing system solutions and drive finance transformation initiatives.
• Travel up to 5% of the time to France (maximum 2 weeks) when required.

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, accounting, or economics.
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written.
• Extensive knowledge of Oracle Financials with at least 3 end‑to‑end Oracle ERP deployment projects and experience supporting manufacturing industry projects.
• Knowledge of Oracle Order to Cash and Procure to Pay cycles.
• Understanding of ERP best practices and a consultative approach to problem solving.
• Experience with external ERP support partners, including patch research, functionality testing, and process recommendations.
• Desirable technical skills: SSIS, SSRS, Wand reports, APRO, One Stream, AI automation tools, SQL Server administration, PL/SQL, SQL queries, and stored procedures.
• Desirable exposure to MS Power BI, Oracle BI/OTBI, financial dashboards, data analytics, and KPI reporting.

This role is essential to helping the business streamline finance operations and support strategic initiatives.
