Responsibilities
Provide IT assistance to users and customers who contact our helpdesk. Record all tasks in the Helpdesk system and deliver remote support to telephone users. Make sure the IT equipment in all schools and across the trust are operating correctly, and regularly maintain the ICT equipment. Install new machines, replace defective ones, troubleshoot issues, repair equipment when necessary, and arrange for external repairs if needed.
Visit our partner schools for IT maintenance and support, as well as to aid our other Academy teams when needed.
- Good educational background including GCSE or equivalent in English and Maths IT Qualifications or equivalent experience.
- Experience of IT Troubleshooting.
- Good knowledge of PC hardware.
- Working knowledge of a range of software packages including Microsoft Office Suite (including MS Windows).
- Professional conduct with colleagues and customers.
