- Visualise operational performance and risk using Power BI and other visualisation tools
- Develop reports with user experience in mind and gather feedback for continuous improvement
- Champion Cyber Security and GDPR compliance within Water Supply and the analyst community
- Act as Power BI and visualisation expert for Water Supply, ensuring reporting adheres to standards
- Support automated reporting and visualise risks across team boundaries
- Provide feedback to stakeholders to drive action plans and improvements
- Ensure reporting drives outcomes and deliverables
- Escalate identified operational and business risks appropriately
- Establish data ownership and verify business acceptance of data sources
- Develop performance measures to support maintenance reporting
- Support teams with visual reporting to track mitigation efforts and emerging threats
- Analyse datasets to identify patterns, trends and risks
- Engage with operational colleagues and subject matter experts to support performance analytics
- Level 3 equivalent in Data Science or Data Analytics
- Strong operational knowledge of abstraction, treatment, transmission and storage of potable water
- Experienced user of Power BI and data visualisation development
- Appropriate professional qualification (e.g. CIWEM) advantageous
- Experience in assessing risk and responding appropriately
- Excellent IT skills including SAP, IRIS, Oracle
- Good communication skills and ability to effectively deal with a range of stakeholders
- Ability to prioritise workload and adapt to operational demands
- Proven leadership and team enablement skills
- Highly developed analytical and strategic thinking skills
Demonstrates expertise in Power BI and data visualization to enhance operational performance and risk management within the water supply sector. Possesses strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of GDPR compliance and cyber security principles.
