About the role:

We are currently looking for a Manufacturing Production Operative to join our dynamic client in Huntingdon. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring efficient production processes, maintaining high standards of quality, and contributing to the overall success of our manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machinery and equipment to produce goods in accordance with production schedules.
Monitor and maintain production lines, ensuring they run smoothly and efficiently.
Conduct quality checks on products to ensure they meet the required specifications.
Assist with the assembly, packaging, and labelling of products.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations and company procedures.
Support team members in meeting production targets and deadlines.
Report any defects or issues to the supervisor.
Maintain a clean and organized working environment.
Complete FLT and crane operations.
Requirements

Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential).
Technical understanding would be an advantage.
Ability to work effectively in a team.
Good attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions.
A strong focus on safety and quality control.
Flexibility to work on continental shifts.
Strong communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Desirable

Skills and Experience:

Forklift or other machinery operation certificates (if applicable).

Experience with quality control processes or ISO standards.
Be physically fit.

Shifts:

Continental shift pattern includes days, nights & weekend working
