We’re recruiting for experienced CNC Miller and CNC Turner Setter Operators to join a well-established, busy engineering manufacturer in the St Ives area.
This is a stable, long-term opportunity offering strong earning potential and a supportive workshop environment.
The Role- Setting and operating CNC Mills or Lathes
- Working from detailed engineering drawings
- Small to medium batch work
- Tool changes, offsets, and minor program edits
- Producing precision components to tight tolerances
- Self-inspection and quality checks
- Proven experience as a CNC Miller or Turner Setter Operator
- Confident setting machines independently
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
- Experience working to tight tolerances
- Reliable, punctual, and quality-focused
- Team player with a proactive attitude
- Competitive hourly rate (DOE)
- Overtime available
- Permanent, secure position
- Clean, well-equipped workshop
