Maintenance Engineer

Are you a skilled Maintenance Engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment? We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) to join a well-established food production site in the Huntingdon area.

The Role As a key member of the engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring maximum equipment up time and site efficiency through both planned and reactive maintenance.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPMs) across production and site equipment Respond promptly to breakdowns, fault-find, and implement effective repairs Diagnose and repair electrical faults on machinery and control systems Mechanical and electrical maintenance on production machines. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives Ensure all work is carried out safely and in line with food safety standards About You NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline Multi-skilled engineer with a strong electrical bias Proven experience within a food manufacturing or FMCG environment Strong fault-finding skills in both electrical and mechanical systems Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good understanding of health & safety and hygiene standards 4 on 4 off blocks of 4 days and 4 nights £55,426.80 per annum If you think this is the job for you click apply now!
