AS A REGISTERED NURSE, you will provide quality nursing care to patients in accordance with recognized nursing techniques, procedures established standards, and administrative policies of Penn Highlands Community Nurses through the Hospice Interdisciplinary Team. Also responsible for the administration of direct and indirect patient centered nursing care using nursing judgements based on the nursing process, scientific principles and nurse practice act.
Responsible, as a member of the Hospice IDT, for planning, directing, controlling, observing and performing of nursing care to meet patient care needs and provide physicians with optimal service.
Work Schedule
- 1-2 days per week
Qualifications
- Have a current Pennsylvania RN License or Temporary Practice Permit
- Have a valid Pennsylvania driver's license
- Have current automobile coverage
Have 2 years of acute care or long-term care experience - Have excellent time management skills
- Have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Have strong teaching skills
- Have ability to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team
- Have ability to meet physical requirements of position
- Be a team player
