- Working in partnership with schools, health services, police and community organisations to coordinate support
- Identifying risks and taking appropriate action where intervention is required
- Contributing to meetings, conferences and court processes when needed
- Keeping detailed and accurate records to support effective decision-making
- Using supervision and reflective practice to continually develop your knowledge and skills
We're keen to hear from Social Workers who are passionate about building positive relationships and making informed decisions that improve the lives of children. You'll need:
- A recognised Social Work qualification
- Registration with Social Work England
- Experience working within Children's Services preferably safeguarding or family support
- Confidence managing complex situations and balancing competing priorities
- Experience of working within Section 17 and Section 47
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with a wide range of professionals and families
- A thoughtful, resilient and compassionate approach to practice
In return, you'll join a service that understands the importance of supporting its workforce and creating an environment where social workers can do their best work.
- Competitive salary package
- Hybrid working arrangements from day one
- Relocation assistance where applicable
- Retention payment after your first year
- Regular supervision and accessible management support
- Ongoing learning and development opportunities
- Clear pathways for career progression
