HGV 2 Hiab Driver

M4 Recruitment are currently recruiting HGV Class 2 HIAB Drivers to join our client's home delivery team based in Huntingdon.

Successful candidates will be responsible for the safe, accurate, and timely delivery of customers' products, completing both multi‑drop and direct deliveries to residential addresses and stores within surrounding areas.

If your HIAB licence has expired, the client will cover the cost of a HIAB refresher course.

• Completing an average of 5-10 deliveries per day
• Delivering bulk items to customers' homes using an HGV Class 2 HIAB vehicle
• Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
• Adhering to all health and safety procedures at all times
• Providing excellent face‑to‑face customer service
• Demonstrating flexibility with start times based on business needs
• Working independently while maintaining professionalism

• Full UK driving licence with Category C (Class
  2) entitlement
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card and Driver CPC
• HIAB licence (ALLMI C5) – refresher can be arranged if expired
• Comfortable driving an automatic vehicle
• Previous customer‑facing experience (preferred but not essential)
• Reliable, punctual, and flexible with a positive attitude
• Ability to work independently
• Must successfully pass a DBS check

• Drivers will be based at the home store but will collect and deliver to surrounding stores and customer locations.
• This role offers consistent weekday work with optional Saturdays.
