Class 2 Refuse Driver

Saffron Vantage are looking for two Class 2 HGV Drivers for full time permanent work in Huntingdon
.

Notice periods can be worked around. If you are looking for shorter hours then this is the role for you!

New Passes Also Welcome.

The Job:

Your role will be a Refuse driver.

You will be responsible for driving the HGV truck around Huntingdonshire, whilst a team of loaders, grab household waste and load it on to the back. This role will specifically focus on a new food waste section. You will sometimes be expected to get out and help load  will also be required to use a handheld devise whilst the vehicle is stationary.

Monday-Friday

06:00-finish. Finish is usually between 12:30-14:00

Minimum 8 hours paid even for shorter shifts. Time and a Half after 8 Hours

The Driver:

Experienced or new pass Class 2 drivers welcome.

Basic knowledge of the English language both spoken and written

A good knowledge of drivers hours and regulations
