Baler; Yard Operative - Night Shift

About The Role

We are recruiting for a Baler Operative at our Alconbury Weald site (PE28 4WY
). This is a permanent, weekly‑paid position, providing consistent work, reliable hours, and long‑term growth opportunities within a thriving business.

• Shift Pattern One:
  Tuesday
  - Friday Nights (19:00 - 07:00) OR Shift Pattern Two:
  Sunday
  - Wednesday Nights (19:00 - 07:00)
• Hourly Rate: £14.90 (paid weekly)

As an AMFRESH Baler Yard Operative, you will:

• Operate the baler safely and report faults promptly.
• Complete daily checks on the bailing machine and monitor bailing wires.
• Ensure timely handling of cardboard and general waste.
• Maintain a clean, organised yard in line with site hygiene standards.
• Support the yard and operational teams to keep a safe working environment.
• Dispose waste correctly in accordance to site rules.
• Work outside in all weather conditions.

To be a successful Baler Yard Operative, the qualities we are looking for are:

• Experience in a yard or similar environment.
• High attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills.
• Drive and determination.
