Base Pay Range

$24.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Summary

The NDT Technician is responsible for performing calibrations and Nondestructive Tests with Level II or III oversight. Level II Technicians are qualified to set up and calibrate equipment. Level II NDT technicians examine the physical properties of materials and components to help detect flaws such as cracks, voids, delamination’s and other imperfections which could lead to unreliability in product performance or in the worst case, product failure.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Familiar with the scope and limitations of the method of NDT being used and should exercise assigned responsibility for on-the-job training
  • Set up and calibrate nondestructive testing equipment.
  • Conduct tests to ensure quality or detect defects using NDT methods of inspection.
  • Organize and report test results.
  • Perform specialized inspections.
  • Actively participate in client programs, planning and strategy sessions.
  • Actively participate in client safety initiatives, incident investigations, etc.
  • Perform other job-related tasks as assigned by management
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Some college preferred.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a Level II NDT Technician or similar field
  • NDT Level I Certification (Radiography)
  • UT, MT, PT Certification are a plus.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively perform assigned NDT tasks.
  • Code shooting capabilities.
  • IRRSP or State Card.
  • Must be a U.S. Person (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident (green card holder) or other status as a U.S. Person)
ITAR Requirements
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, certain positions may require applicants to be a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (aka green card holder), (iii) Refugee under 8 U.S.C. 1157, or (iv) Asylee under 8 U.S.C. 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
