Job Summary

Seniors Helping Seniors® in-home care services offer companionship for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of their homes. We’re searching for mature and compassionate individuals to add to our team of personal caregivers. Each personal caregiver will have the option to decide which duties are best fitted to their experience and/or personal preference when assisting our seniors.

Our team believes that seniors can help each other age with dignity, grace, and respect. One of the most important aspects of our services is providing companionship to those we serve. To do so, we commit to pairing personal caregivers with care receivers who share similar interests and backgrounds.

Seniors Helping Seniors® personal caregivers help with daily tasks like light housekeeping, yard work, medication reminders, and transportation to and from appointments or social events. They also offer respite care and 24/7 support for those with more advanced needs, as well as specialized assistance for individuals with Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Serving Huntington Beach and surrounding areas.

• Maintain the highest standards of customer service and professionalism set by SHS
• Be proactive to find other ways to help our seniors once all tasks have been complete
• Maturity to deal effectively with the demands of the job

Companionship and Homemaker Duties

• Provide Companionship

Personal Care Duties

• Assist with Dressing

• Memory Care

Working Conditions

• Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Work primarily conducted in clients’ homes
• Some light physical effort may be required, including assisting with mobility and transferring clients
