Young-Agriesti & Thomas, LLP is a full-service civil litigation firm specializing in employment law. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney with a minimum of 2-6 years of civil litigation experience. Experience in Employment and Labor Law is preferred, but not required. This is a great opportunity for someone who wants to develop and enhance their litigation skills in a collaborative and supportive environment by handling challenging and interesting employment cases.

The position will be fully remote, but will require flexibility to commute to the Orange County, Los Angeles and/or San Diego area for court appearances, depositions and meetings, when required. Duties include court appearances, organize and analyze case information, propounding and responding to written discovery, law and motion drafting, meeting clients, taking and defending depositions, including experts, and all phases of trial preparation.

The ideal candidate must:

• Be an active member of the California State Bar in good standing.
• Located in Southern California.
• Be able to manage several cases concurrently with autonomy and efficiency.
• Have experience with the California Code of Civil Procedure and related deadlines.
• Be committed to client service, self-motivated, able work independently and function well as part of a legal team.
• Have excellent organizational, analytical, writing, and research skills.
• Be able to work in a team setting.
• Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
