Overview

Are you ready to run one of the most exciting Jiu-Jitsu gyms in Huntington Beach? We’re looking for a Sales Manager who knows how to lead, grow, and dominate in an environment where martial arts meets business excellence. This isn’t just a “job.” It’s your chance to take the reins, scale our 7,500-square-foot facility to its full potential, and help us build a thriving community of 700 members.

We need someone who’s not just sales-driven, but profit-driven. Someone with the hustle to grow the gym, the vision to help prepare for future locations, and the confidence to make decisions and own them. You’ll be the face of the gym, the leader of the pack, and the person who ensures every member walks out feeling like they belong to something amazing.

What You’ll Be Doing (AKA Your Mission)
  • KEEP THE OPERATION RUNNING SMOOTHLY:
    Oversee daily operations of our 7,500-square-foot Jiu Jitsu gym, ensuring everything is clean, organized, and ready to roll.
  • Manage equipment maintenance, facility upkeep, and ensure the gym is always at its best.
  • Build systems and processes to streamline operations and prepare for future expansion.
  • CREATE AN EPIC MEMBER

    EXPERIENCE:

    Be the welcoming face of the gym for everyone who walks through the door—members, prospects, and visitors alike.
  • Help onboard new members and guide them through their first steps into the Jiu Jitsu lifestyle.
  • Handle inquiries, feedback, and concerns like a pro while keeping the vibe positive and professional.
  • DRIVE REVENUE AND PROFITS:
    Take charge of membership sales, gear sales, and event promotions to hit revenue targets.
  • Keep a laser focus on profitability—because making money is cool, but making profit is what matters.
  • Track financials, including invoices, payments, and expenses, and ensure the gym’s financial performance is strong.
  • LEAD THE TEAM:
    Motivate and manage instructors and staff, ensuring everyone is aligned and performing at their best.
  • Coordinate schedules, payments, and policies for instructors and front desk staff.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative environment that makes this gym the best place to work (and train).
  • MARKET LIKE A PRO:
    Take charge of the gym’s marketing channels, including social media, email, and local outreach.
  • Build buzz around the gym with promotions, events, and community engagement.
  • Create content that showcases what we’re all about—think photos, videos, and posts that get people talking.
  • PLAN FOR THE FUTURE:
    Think beyond today. Help us scale and prepare for future locations while building a franchise-ready operation.
  • Make decisions confidently and independently—no micromanaging here, we trust you to make the right calls.

Skills & Experience You Bring to the Mats
  • High school diploma required; a degree in Business, Marketing, or Management is a major plus.
  • 2 years of management, customer service, or sales experience (bonus if it’s in the fitness or gym industry).
  • Proven ability to hit sales targets, manage budgets, and track financial performance.
  • Strong communication skills—you can talk to anyone and get them excited about what we do.
  • You're highly organized and know how to keep multiple moving parts running smoothly.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems, inventory management, and admin tools.
  • Social media savvy—you know how to build an audience and keep people engaged.
  • Passion for Jiu Jitsu, martial arts, or fitness is a massive plus.
