Connect Staffing Inc. is seeking an experienced Metal Finisher/Sandblaster for a faucet manufacturing facility in Huntington Beach, CA.

Pay Range
: $18.50/hr - $18.50/hr pay will be based on skills and experience. Review with recruiter.

Schedule: Monday, Friday, 5:15 AM-2:00 PM. Ability to work overtime as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum 1 year of recent finishing and/or quality control experience.
• Must be able to speak English or be bilingual.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have attention to detail, accuracy, dependability, and persistence.
• Comfortable with environments exposed to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Must pass a background check, drug screen, and E‑Verify.
• Prior experience as a manufacturing technician, mechanical assembler, production assembler, quality control inspector, or assembly technician is a big plus.

Responsibilities:

• Sandblasting with high‑pressure air equipment to clean and prepare surfaces such as brass or other metals.
• Manually direct the nozzle over surfaces of large parts or manipulate small parts under the nozzle via glove‑fitted cabinet openings.
• Operate polishing lathe machines to correct defects, smooth, satin, and prepare surfaces.
• Process living finishes using burnishing machines (exposure to nut shells).
• Electro‑stripping to remove the outer chrome plated layer and expose the underlying nickel finish through chemical baths.
• Racking or wiring parts, dipping in chemical baths, rinsing and drying, and cleaning or waxing finished products.
• Peel or unwrap parts before further finishing.
• Apply metal plating and living finish using chemical solutions.
• Return finished parts to inventory, scan production tickets into ERP computer system, and advance to next assembly stage using bar code scanners and personal computers.
