1st Shift PVD Precision Cleaner

California Faucets is looking to bring on a talented 1st Shift Precision Cleaner. This role is based on site in our Huntington Beach, CA warehouse. The hours for this position will be Monday through Friday, full-time from 5:15 p.m.

- 2:00 p.m.

As a Precision Cleaner at PVD Coatings, you will be responsible for physically polishing and cleaning critical plumbing product through wiping, brushing, and polishing.

• Basic knowledge of general hygiene practices.
• Good knowledge of cleaning products, handling, and applications.
• Must be organized, task-focused, proactive, enthusiastic, self-motivated, and able to work productively without direct supervision.
• Must be able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Basic computer skills, able to follow instructions, and record day to day activities.
• Ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with team members at all levels of the organization.
• Adaptability/flexibility when encountering problems. Must be able to communicate issues to team leader and be able to solve problems and implement solutions.
• Ability to follow instructions and comply with all safety regulations including the use of personal protective equipment.
• Contribute to team effort by performing other supporting tasks as required by Shift Leader.
• Ability to work overtime as needed.

• Possible exposure to heat, cold, dust, and moderate noise when working indoors.
• Must be able to follow proper lifting techniques.

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.

The position requires contact with Production Department.

The position involves working with order forms. It requires judgment in proper packing of product and selection of packaging materials. It also involves the use of various warehouse related tools.

Under general supervision, assignments are both task-oriented and objective-oriented. Follows established procedures for routine work; receives specific instruction on non-routine problems.

After adequate training, the position requires a level of accountability to complete a pre-determined amount of work or units per shift.

Preferred educational requirement to successfully perform this position is a high school diploma or G.E.D. certificate.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand extended periods of time (8 hours plus); walk; reach with hands and arms below and above shoulder; use of left and right-hands for fine and simple manipulation such as grasping and squeezing;

climb, balance, stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, squat, twist or crawl. The employee may be required to lift/carry 1-50 pounds when necessary.
