The Production Technician works in all areas of Production which includes working with composite structures, producing complex assemblies, tape wrapping, and compression molding.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Complete work orders/travelers when they are scheduled to be finalized.
  • Utilizing ISO 9001/AS9100 standards.
  • Understand the production process in the various areas which include tape wrapping, cutting, and compression molding and hand layup of composites.
  • Measure and visually inspect products for surface and dimension defects to ensure conformance to specifications, using precision measuring instruments.
  • Mix and measure resin and adhesive.
  • Adjust temperature controls of ovens.
  • Review blueprints or other instructions to determine operational methods or sequences.
  • Maintain production or processing equipment.
  • Use upper body mobility, such as bending, use of arms and hands, and standing for the majority of the time.
Education & Experience
  • 2-3 years of experience preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs.
  • Repetitive motion
ITAR Requirements
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. lawful permanent resident (green card holder), refugee under 8 U.S.C., or asylee under 8 U.S.C. and be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.
  • 1157, or 1158, or be eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State. Learn more about the ITAR here.
Travel Requirements

No travel required for this position.

Physical Requirements
  • Constant standing/walking/sitting for at least 8 hours.
  • Pushing, pulling, lifting, bending, stooping or carrying up to 50 lbs. Min 35lbs.
  • Prolonged periods of repetitive movement are required.
  • Holding, grasping, turning, or otherwise working with the hand(s).
  • Occasional extending of arms to reach overhead, at shoulder level and below shoulder level.
  • Occasional forklift driving required.
