Job SummaryPerform semi‑skilled work operating a variety of extrusion equipment. Operations include setting up the machine based on production orders, maintaining production quality, obtaining samples for quality control, labeling, and packing of finished products.
Essential Functions- Check operating controls and safety of equipment prior to operation.
- Perform the duty of setting up the machine based on production orders.
- Monitor material quality for any defects and adjust machine parameters as needed.
- Label and pack finished products as they are produced on the machine per work order instructions.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment in line with company policies.
- Must comply with OSHA safety standards when performing job duties.
- Must be able to wear a respirator to perform machine setup.
- Must be able to understand and carry out routine oral and written instructions.
- Must be able to maintain effective working relationships with other co‑workers.
- Perform other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor.
