Step into a seasoned role where your machining and grinding expertise drives results without hand-holding. You’ll take ownership from task acceptance through completion, applying judgment, discipline, and pride in every detail. This is a hands-on position for a true self-starter—someone who can understand complex work and execute with minimal supervision.
Location Huntington Beach, CA. Candidates must live within a practical commuting distance. Relocation is not offered.
What you’ll do Interpret blueprints and work instructions to set up, machine, and grind precision parts.
Perform both manual and CNC machining, including surface, /OD, and jig grinding.
Troubleshoot issues at the machine and process level to maintain quality and throughput.
Program CNC equipment as needed for low-volume, high-precision work.
Use precision measurement, hand metrology, and advanced inspection and gauge techniques.
Produce aerospace components in a non-production, repair/precision environment where quality is paramount.
What you bring
10+ years of experience machining and grinding precision components.
Ability to read, speak, and comprehend English.
U.S. citizenship (required due to the nature of some assignments).Proficiency in manual machining and CNC programming.
Strong command of precision measurement, hand metrology, and advanced gauging.
Background in aerospace manufacturing and an appreciation for the criticality of flight components.
Preferred background
Experience in an aviation machine shop (non-production).Comfort operating a wide range of manual and CNC machinery.
Consistent, steady weekly work hours.
Military aviation experience.
Experience in an FAA repair station.

Turning Lathe, Manual Lathe, Vertical Lathe Surface Grinder, Manual Grinder, CNC Grinder, Machine, OD/ Machine, Jig Grinder Manual Vertical Mill, Boring MillCNC Lathe (2–4 axis)
Universal Machining Center (3–4 axis)
Horizontal Machining Center (3–4 axis)
