Public Relations Manager (In-House)We’re looking for a Public Relations Manager who knows how to shape narratives, strengthen brand credibility, and drive meaningful earned media. What You’ll Be Doing- Develop and execute PR strategies that elevate our brand across national and local markets
- Pitch and secure high-value media coverage, interviews, and backlink placements
- Build strong relationships with journalists, editors, producers, and key media partners
- Write and distribute press releases, media kits, and compelling brand stories
- Coordinate TV, radio, digital, and podcast opportunities for company leaders, clinicians, and alumni
- Partner with marketing leadership on campaigns and reputation management initiatives
- Track media coverage, measure performance, and share insights with stakeholders
- Support crisis communication planning and manage incoming media inquiries
- Bachelor’s degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
- 4+ years of experience in public relations (healthcare or wellness experience is a plus)
- Strong media relationships and a proven track record of securing earned placements
- Exceptional writing and communication skills
- Understanding of digital PR, backlink value, and SEO-driven media strategy
- Comfortable in fast-paced, mission-driven environments
- Experience working within healthcare, behavioral health, or multi-location organizations
- Familiarity with PR tools like Muck Rack, Cision, or Meltwater
- Experience as a brand spokesperson or coaching spokespeople for interviews
