- The Nurse Director Emergency and Critical Care Services oversees the planning, organization, and evaluation of critical care nursing services.
- Responsible for ensuring high-quality patient care and compliance with organizational standards.
- Manages day-to-day operations of the Emergency Department and Intensive Care Unit.
- Collaborates with staff, physicians, and administration to meet patient care needs effectively.
- Provides leadership in performance improvement activities and regulatory compliance.
- Ensures comprehensive care for pediatric, adolescent, adult, and older adult patients.
- Interacts with external agencies and families to deliver holistic care.

Key Responsibilities & Duties
- Supervise, assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care delivery.
- Develop and implement departmental plans, including performance improvement initiatives.
- Manage nursing personnel and ensure effective utilization of time and resources.
- Communicate nursing issues and hospital policies to staff and administration.
- Assume house supervisory responsibilities, including responding to hospital codes.
- Oversee patient care for diverse age groups in emergency and critical care settings.
- Provide triage and treatment for emergency care patients.
- Ensure compliance with organizational standards and regulatory requirements.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required.
- Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
- Valid certifications in BLS, ACLS, and PALS upon hire.
- Certified Emergency Nurse (CEN) preferred.
- Minimum of three years of clinical experience in acute care settings.
- At least two years of supervisory or management experience.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
