Ocean View School District of Orange County is inviting public applications for this permanent position available as of January 16 2026. Future permanent and substitute vacancies may also be filled from this recruitment.

Current OVSD classified employees may not hold two permanent job assignments. If you are a permanent employee and wish to work more hours you may submit a transfer request or inquire about becoming a substitute in the same or other classifications.

Applicants will be screened to verify that the minimum qualifications (education & experience) have been satisfied. Successful candidates will be scheduled to participate in a written exam (Friday, January 16 2026, Board Room – Building A). Candidates must pass each portion of the exam in order to proceed in the recruitment and be placed on the eligibility list, which will be valid for one year.

Employees who work thirty (30) or more regularly assigned hours per week are eligible for health and welfare benefits and will receive a district contribution toward a cafeteria fringe benefit package. Eligible employees are required to participate in employee‑only medical, dental and life insurance coverage.
