Company SummaryFor over 40 years CS-amsco has continued to serve the Municipal Water and Wastewater Industry in Southern California and Southern Nevada. We have extensive experience in providing valves and actuators for Municipal applications, spanning industries such as Pulp and Paper, Power, HVAC, and OEM equipment manufacturing.
Key Duties and Essential Functions- Point of contact for incoming calls, emails, and online communication from customers and manufacturers.
- Proactively engage with prospective and existing customers via phone, email, and virtual meetings.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing timely support, addressing concerns, and offering tailored solutions.
- Collaborate with Outside Sales and Project Managers to meet and achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets, contributing to the overall growth of the business.
- Prepare quotes for customers and enter orders, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Attend periodic training and/or sales meetings (some travel required, a few days per year).
- Assist preparing customer required paperwork and materials.
- Order follow up and tracking.
- Provide information to Accounting for forecasting.
- Work with Management and Outside Sales to increase sales and meet manufacturer goals.
- Stay up to date on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitor offerings to effectively position solutions.
- High School Diploma.
- Experience with Office 365.
- Experience with CRM and Order Entry Software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- College degree.
- 3-5 years’ experience in Inside Sales or a related customer‑facing role.
- Math skills with percentages.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, target‑driven environment.
- Sitting for long periods: extended periods of sitting at a desk, working on a computer, and speaking on the phone.
- Use of hands and fingers: frequent typing, mouse use, and handling paperwork.
- Visual strain: significant screen time; regular breaks encouraged.
- Talking and hearing: extensive phone use; clear verbal communication required.
- Light lifting: moving office supplies or product samples occasionally.
- Office environment: typical office setting, climate‑controlled, well‑lit, with standard office furniture and technology.
- Noise level: moderate.
- Technology use: computers, phones, CRM software; comfortable navigating multiple platforms.
- High mental focus: multitasking between calls, emails, and CRM.
- Collaboration:
frequent collaboration with marketing, customer service, and outside sales teams.
$29–$32/hr based on experience and qualifications.
