This role is primarily responsible for preventing financial loss caused by theft and fraud and for supporting safety and environmental program compliance in the assigned store or stores. The Specialist uses tools to minimize loss to the Company, including identifying incidents of theft and fraud, reviewing CCTV and exception reports, monitoring store physical security, auditing Electronic Article Surveillance, and promoting a shrink-elimination culture in the store.

• Prepare accurate and detailed case reports documenting apprehensions and recoveries, preserve evidence, and interact with law enforcement.
• Testify in criminal and civil court actions as required.
• Report hazardous or unsafe conditions to the Manager on Duty and perform duties in a way that minimizes risk of injury to self, associates, vendors, customers, and the Company.
• Demonstrate integrity at all times and respond to asset protection and operational concerns of all associates.
• Remain focused on store-specific business objectives while supporting key asset protection and operational responsibilities.
